Because I am incredibly excited for the movie, I'm setting myself a hunger games Illustration challenge. I need help trying to pick out their most iconic feature, so please help me with that Just comment and Ill edit here.

When will it be finished? I dunno, hopefully Ill be done with entire cast ensembles for the first book before the movie releases in March 23 2012.

I hope to read these books in order. After that I would need something new.


1) Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins (never read it, only listened to the audiobook)
2) Mockingjay - Suzanne Collins (read it, it's stupid not the read a series and not finish it, even if you have read it before)
3) The Vyne - ...forgot (It was boring, so I put it down for Graceling - Kristin Cashore, I'm half way done)
4) One Hundred Percent Lunar Body - ....forgot (Bought it off borders because they were closing down. It was supposed to be a $30 hardcover, But I got it for $11 )
5) Fire - Kristin Cashore (Because I just finished reading Graceling, I need to read this prequel again...just because...)

suggestions? Specifically, who should I draw?

So...I want to change course.
I don't want to do visual design. Why? Because to me, it's redundant, and most of the stuff we're learning about are not of my interest or i already know them, or the teacher is useless.
One more thing about design is...it's a lone work, it's a depressing job, in my opinion. It's understandable for writers to be loners, because they're in their own world, they create worlds in their big heads. With design...you're limited to design principles that must be followed or your work would look like a piece of shit. Sure, there are structures in all forms of literary or visual concepts. But still, i'm not feeling design, I don't like the lone work, i don't like the restriction, i don't like--i don't want to get stuck at home or in a office working on little tiny bits of colours and lines.

I want to imagine.
I want to poke little black buttons on big cameras that I have no idea what it does.
I want to touch that furry mic that goes on top of the actor.
I want to create worlds that is not of our own.
I want to create stories, and I want to do this visually...with film.

Ever since senior school started, I wanted to try film. Sure it was just an interest then. But since i was a fetus, i liked worlds, the creativity, the adventure stories, the comedy, the lurrrv, the horror, the hot dudes, i appreciated the pretty ladies with pretty, cute personality and faces. Last year i got involved into directing and editing. And, mate. It was cool. Sure I didn't have the resources that i have now last year, (i.e <3 Mac), but yea, i enjoyed it. Despite the sleepless nights, stress, pressure, the disappointment of the final cut not shown on the big screen because they played the draft instead. Which by the way consisted of blank spaces and vulgarity (that they asked me to blank out) and parts that did not make sense.

So yea...I'm thinking of quitting my course, Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) and move into AFTRS Film school, do a beginner's diploma for 32 weeks (1 year), then hopefully get considered into IFSS - International FIlm School Sydney, or some other college that i haven't found. But ahhhh...tuition. kill my life lol. $9,500 at AFTRS, and $10,500 at IFSS..per semester..gawwwwwwd D:

There's my rant. Now I have to do a 1,500 word article/report/essay shit and i dont want to do it, because i hate this game.

So I'm doing a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communications) at the moment, and i will say one thing...I'm not a designer. I don't want to be a designer, and yet, I know how to design but I don't want to do that either.
So I want to do film because I like movement, audio, and new worlds that can be created with film.

So...yes my course is gay and I want to transfer to digital media or film or something that is worth my time.

Sucks. It's too cold

It's either Photography or Drawing and as far as i was informed Digital art is the closest thing to Digital Art. I'm probably gonna end up picking drawing though, since i still need to improve on it and stuff. I'm just afraid they're gonna make me do realism...I would die D:

But...yea, I have to get my applications in by around April 4 and IF i get accepted, ill be going in that school during the July holidays i think and October holidays. It goes for like 4 days in the holidays, after the 4 days of art making in October there's a exhibition and it's gonna be cool to get to see what other people has done...That is if i do get in.
